The last full day of Camp ASCCA Session #1 has come and gone! Campers and counselors spent the morning and part of the afternoon enjoying their favorite activities for the last time this week. As the sun began to go down, groups began to head towards the cabin to get ready for the evening activity–the dance!
Everyone wore the best outfit that they had packed for the week to show their different styles off at the dance. Some campers wore a dressy shirt and shorts and others wore dresses. Hair was properly combed back or maintained in tight curls or straight hair.
The dance picked up quickly with some hit songs such as the Cupid Shuffle, That’s What I Like, and Despacito. A conga line even broke out on the dance floor! Campers were able to dance with their counselor or friends that they made throughout the week.
Following the dance, the public relations staff revealed the Session #1 slideshow that contained photographs that were taken by the staff throughout the week. The goodnight song was sang for the last time this week as tears were shed from both campers and counselors. Everyone had a blast during the week but it would not have been complete without the dance and slideshow! Check out our Flickr for photos featured on the slideshow and from the rest of the week!
