It has been a hot, beautiful day here on the banks of Lake Martin, and today’s students from Drake Middle School are having a ball. With the sun beating down, students were encouraged to drink water throughout the day and keep sunscreen on because no one wants to be sunburnt on their fun day away from the classroom.
When asked about their thoughts of the day trip to camp, many students chimed in. One student said that this is one of the best camps that he has ever visited and inquired about wanting to bring his friends from home along. While another student found the zipline to be completely “exhilirating.”
We have a few more days coming up next week with the crew from Drake Middle School, and we are looking forward to it.
