Today was Elks Day! This morning we enjoyed spending time with a group of people that are very special to us. Elks have been supporting Camp ASCCA for years and we can’t thank them enough for all that they do for our camp family.
The Elks have supported multiple campers to be able to come to camp, they have rennovated and funded buildings such as our administrative office, Boys/Girls cabins, etc. Their current project is our upcoming storm shelter/Arts and Crafts building. Which we are hoping to start construction on after camp this summer some time around September.
This morning they came to visit with us at camp and cook lunch for us. Bessemer Lodge donated $500 for food, Alabama Elks State Association donated $200 for food and Donnie Pritchard from Alexander City brought the grill along with members to help cook todays lunch.
for the wonderful lunch and everything else that you do for us here at Camp ASCCA!
It is a blessing to spend time with the many people that make Camp ASCCA possible.
