On August 3rd, we hosted our annual Alabama Elks Day at Camp ASCCA. This special event brings together Elks from across the state for a day filled with fellowship, generosity, and fun. We gathered in the BcK4T, where visitors had the opportunity to reconnect with old friends and meet new ones.
The motto, “Elks Care, Elks Share,” truly came to life at Camp ASCCA. Several lodges collaborated to provide a delicious lunch for all attendees, while others took the chance to tour the Camp ASCCA facilities.
In total, $8,725 was generously donated to Camp ASCCA. Of this amount, $2,805 was raised for the 2024 Jingle Jump fundraiser led by Tony Glebosky, the Alabama Elks Association State President and Camp ASCCA Board Chair for 2024-2025. Additionally, $5,920 was contributed for general and campership support, alongside numerous items from our Amazon Wish List. The donated items included bath and pool towels, sheets, toiletries, tennis balls, billiards sets, glue, basketballs, binders, tape, games, and more!
We were thrilled to welcome 18 lodges on this special day. We are deeply appreciative of the Elks who participated and made the day so enjoyable.
For many years, the Alabama Elks Association has supported numerous capital projects, camperships, and more, in addition to their annual $50,000 donation. We are profoundly grateful for their unwavering support and generosity towards Camp ASCCA year after year.
