Here at Camp ASCCA, we have ASCCA achievements. They are given out by each program to one special individual who showed bravery, was super helpful or just a joy to be around! ASCCA achievements are super coveted and everyone eagerly awaits to see if their name is called.
Today our nature award went to Cindy, she was so helpful during the rotation and taught us so many new things about the reptiles. The demo farm award was given to Sarah. Sarah was so excited when she got to the farm and she couldn’t wait to love on all the animals. She even helped Abbie bring them to all of the other campers. The waterslide award went to Will, he went down the waterslide so many times the lifeguards lost count. The tubing award went to Misty. Misty had insane energy on the tube and constantly wanted to speed up. The adventure award was given to Chad. Chad was so excited to get to the top of the zipline and fly down. The Arts & Crafts award went to Freddie. He did such an amazing job using tie-dye to fix his shirt for ASCCAPALOOZA. The archery award was given to David, everyone was so impressed with his ability to hit the bullseye multiple times. The award for boat rides went to Kevin, he kept the whole boat awake by singing his favorite songs. Lastly, the award for the pool went to Joseph. He passed his swim test despite losing a shoe!
We are so proud of all of our achievers. This week is off to such a great start! To see more pictures from today click here. Make sure to follow along with us this summer to see all the fun that Camp ASCCA has in store.
