After a bit of a delay, Camp ASCCA finally got to put on their very own firework show.
Immediantly after the dance, campers and counselors headed towards the tennis courts for what was sure to be an impressive showcase of booming noises and spectacular colors. Once they arrived, everybody gathered around and waited with anticipation. A 60-second countdown was started and by the time they reached 2, the show had begun.
Fireworks were set off one after the other. It was quite a thrill. The ASCCA family cheered and applauded every one. To make this event even more grandscope, music was played in the background to fit the upcoming 4th of July holiday. Patriotic hits were played, from “God Bless The USA” to “God Bless America”. Even pop hits such as Katy Perry’s “Firework” fit the event perfectly.
As the last firework exploded across the sky, counselors and their campers gathered in unison to sing the goodnight song one last time.
