We officially kicked off the 2026 ASCCA camping season this weekend, and Spring Weekend was the perfect start to everything ahead. After what felt like a long wait, our campgrounds were once again filled with the energy and excitement of our campers. We were so happy to welcome back familiar faces and meet a few new ones, all ready for a fun-filled weekend.
Campers, families, and staff arrived Friday afternoon, bags in hand and ready to make lasting memories. After settling into cabins and meeting counselors and bunkmates, everyone gathered in the Dining Hall for dinner. We wrapped up the evening with a dance to celebrate being together again.
Saturday, our first full day, started with flag raising and breakfast with beautiful weather. Campers and families enjoyed a wide range of activities, including ziplining, slingshots, arts & crafts, and fishing both on boats with volunteers and around the pond and dock.
The day flew by, and before long, it was time for afternoon fun. Campers took on the big swing, sang their hearts out at karaoke, enjoyed boat rides, spent time at the BcK4T, and of course, did even more fishing.
We ended the day with a camp favorite, the talent show. Campers lit up the stage with singing, dancing, and unforgettable performances. It’s safe to say we have some incredible talent here at ASCCA.
As always, Sunday came too quickly. Before saying goodbye, we made time for a few more favorite activities, including fishing, the bungee trampoline, boat rides, canoeing, and a nature project. We made sure to enjoy every last moment together.
It truly was an amazing weekend. Time at Camp ASCCA is always meaningful, and we are so thankful for our campers, their families, and our dedicated staff who make it all so special.

While the weekend has come to an end, it means summer is right around the corner. We can’t wait to see you again soon, ASCCA friends.
