Five stops in two weeks for ASCCA on the Road

Between fundraisers, Christmas Weekend preparations, and ASCCA on the Road, we have been moving nonstop lately. Over the past two weeks our staff has made stops at five different schools in Alabama to speak with students and parents about Camp as a part of our “ASCCA on the Road” efforts.

Last week we visited Sanford Middle School in Beauregard along with Ogletree Elementary in Auburn. Today we managed to visit three schools in one day across two time zones, and we had a blast with the students at Smith Station High School, Lafayette Eastside Elementary School, and Lafayette High School.

We are continuing to see growth and interest in these visits because Camp ASCCA is on full display for all to see through our usual t-shirt designing and the Q&A time with parents. The more comfortable potential campers and their parents are in these sessions the better so we strive to give all of the needed information and excitement to bring new faces to camp next summer.

If you are interested in having a few of our staff members come speak to your organization, school, or business, please contact Amber Cotney at amber@campascca.org!
