Flag Raising

Good Morning!

This morning all the campers and counselors were excited to get the day started. We were greeted with cabin chants from Moundville this morning as they walked with their banner held high and the signature mark of Harry Potter, which is their cabin theme this week.

Once all of our cabins were present the cabin of Davis (aka Davis Lodge) started the day by raising the flag, giving us the quote of the day and the joke of the day. As always our campers did an amazing job and we are all so proud of them.

This morning the flag was raised by camper, Alyssa Moore and program staff Callie Wilkinson. After the flag was raised Alyssa lead us in the pledge of Allegiance.

The quote of the day was read to us by Jonathan Pennington.

This morning we had lots of jokes so we had Annie “Maggie” Ernst from the girls side and Samuel “Eli” Daniels-Figgers from the guys side tell us their best joke.

Interrupting cow.

Interrupting cow wh—MOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Sam’s joke:

What did one flag say to the other?

What?

Nothing they just waved.

As always it’s a great day at Camp ASCCA!
