Hey everyone! Now that the Summer 2026 sessions are officially over, it’s time to recap Session 3.
We had a very high heat advisory that week. My Sunday check-in was quick. It only took about 15 minutes because I didn’t have any medications. I was the first one in the boys’ cabin before everyone else arrived. That evening, campers and counselors took pictures, we had Papa John’s Pizza, and the evening kicked off with Meet and Greet at the Big Stage, pickleball, or board games in the Dining Hall.
Monday morning, Moundville and Redstick led flag raising. My program rotations were tubing with Lily, Carlee, and Lena, followed by Arts & Crafts with Randi. During afternoon free choice, I chose karaoke at the OutPost. That evening, half of the cabin participated in the talent show while the other half attended a BcK4T party.
Tuesday morning, Creek and Crow had flag raising. My program rotations were the zipline with Drew, Elizabeth, Michaela, and Saralynn, followed by archery with Daniel. During that afternoon free choice, I chose the LPR zipline and game room. That evening, half the cabins attended the BcK4T party while the other half attended the talent show.

Wednesday started with breakfast at the Patio. My program rotations were the Demo Farm with Emma and the pool. That afternoon, an ice cream truck from A Little Something Extra visited camp. Free choice was moved indoors because of lightning, so I chose karaoke in the basement of Lions Lodge. That evening ended with the dance featuring DJ Tre.
Thursday morning, Davis and Chickasaw led flag raising. After that, it was morning free choice, and I chose the game room and the demo farm project, where we made ice cream. After lunch, we had extended rest period. After snack, showers, and dinner, we had the award ceremonies, and Cheaha won Honor Cabin. That evening ended with a concert by The Wild Feathers.
Friday morning, Cheaha and Choctaw led flag raising. We had cinnamon rolls for breakfast, then watched the slideshow before check out began.
