Happy 2024, campers and counselors! I hope that you all had a great holiday. Over the holiday break, I watched the Jingle Jump livestream. Emma, Justin, and I raised $800 for our Jingle Jump fundraiser. We raised enough to send a camper to Camp ASCCA this summer!
This summer will be our 48th summer, and they have started hiring summer staff! The positions open are counselors, program staff, counselors in training (CIT), and PR interns. Counselors will be responsible for two to three campers and will help with their daily living activities. Program staff will also assist the campers and run their programs. There is adventure, aquatics, and outdoor education program staff. CITs are 15–17-year-olds who help the counselors with their care load. PR interns will take photos, and videos, write blogs, and share everyone on social media during the week.
The dates for program staff for summer 2024 are May 28th-August 2nd, and for counselors and PR interns, it’s June 11th-August 2nd. Camp sessions begin on Sunday afternoons and end on Friday afternoons. Summer staff have Saturdays off and can rest, leave the site, etc. If you want to apply, click here!
