Hi, my name is Gatlin. I have been to many camps, but Camp ASCCA has a special place in my heart. I remember the first time I went to Camp ASCCA. I had Will as my counselor. He saw that I had trouble going to sleep, so he got my communication board and we stayed up and talked all night. I like how Leah treats me as a human being and doesn’t focus on my wheelchair. Attending camp has taught me how to respect others and believe in myself.
My favorite thing to do at Camp is ziplining over the fishing pond at the LPR Zipline. I also enjoy the Zip Tower because I always like heights. ASCCA has given me a chance to experience many wonderful things, and I am grateful for ziplining and building friendships. I am going to come to Camp for many years to come. I am so thankful for the counselors making a safe and fun environment for the campers.
Camp ASCCA will always hold a special place in my heart. Camp ASCCA is a truly magical place. It is way better than Disney World!!!
