Session 4 kicked off our weekly talent show! Many campers chose to sing their hearts out and did a fantastic job performing at the talent show. We had songs ranging from “Row Your Boat,” a classic nursery rhyme, to “Wanna Be Loved” by one of our Campers’ favorite bands, Red Clay Strays, sung by camper Conner! That song was a crowd favorite once everyone recognized it.

However, one act stood out and was distinct from all the others. One of our campers, Josie, decided to perform a stand-up comedy act. At first, you could tell she was a little bit nervous, but once she shared her first joke with the crowd, you could hear the laughs all around the Camp. Her jokes had the entire crowd laughing, and once she was done, she was given the biggest round of applause.

We love a good Camp ASCCA talent show, and it’s incredible to see all the campers perform different acts. It is amazing to see our campers branch out, and that is what they all did when they performed. They are all stars in our books! The energy and enthusiasm from both the performers and the audience made this session’s talent show truly unforgettable! We are looking forward to making more unforgettable memories with our campers later this week, especially at prom and our concert! The talent show was a great start to kick off our week!
