A few weeks ago volunteers from our local chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation, the Tallapoosa Longbeards, and the Quality Deer Management Association, came out to plant the food plots for the upcoming deer season. Six plots are now trimmed back and planted and ready for our Winter Deer Hunts. Hope everyone is excited and ready to bag some trophy bucks! Remember applications for ASCCA Family Deer Hunt are due in November so get those forms in as soon as possible. We are looking forward to Lakeshore Foundation joining us again this year for a couple of hunts as well. So get your applications in early, get out your camo, and get ready for a GREAT hunting season!
