Girl Scouts Gold Award Project Shines at Camp ASCCA!

This past summer, Susan Latimer conducted her Girl Scouts Gold Award project at Camp ASCCA! Susan built clotheslines for each of Camp ASCCA’s cabin clusters. As part of the project, she was required to provide an educational component. Susan made a video for the Camp staff that showed the importance of hanging wet clothes and towels flat, so they will not mildew (and smell!) She also stated the importance of not allowing campers to remain in wet clothes for an extended period of time.

We at Camp ASCCA have known Susan for a long time! She is the daughter of Camp Seale Harris’ Camp Director John Latimer. She really knows camp and we appreciate her adding to the health and safety of our campers.

Congratulations Susan, we wish you a bright and successful future after high school!
