Yesterday was definitely an unforgettable day. The morning and afternoon programs went as usual, but the evening was one of a kind. The girls had Girl’s Night and the boys had their night. In my opinion, this night could not have been any better! The girls did their nails, had pillow fights, ate plenty of snacks and much more. Of course, they had a huge party in the middle of the dance floor, and it was held in the basement of Lions Lodge.
The basement was decorated to perfection, and they even had a photo booth. There were cupcakes of all different flavors such as: strawberry, vanilla, chocolate, and last but not least, funfetti. They had a bunch of toppings as well. The snack table was full to capacity with all sorts of snacks, so I know the girls were excited to have something different than camp food.
The music choices were totally epic! They were pretty much all girl empowerment songs, and the campers could not stop from dancing. Every song was a great one. They even had a few mattresses for the girls to just lay down and chill out with their fellow campers and counselors. This night definitely made all the girls closer for all the right reasons. The nail salon was brought to us last night, and the girls left with the cutest nails done by their counselors. There was also a place to make posters for ASCCApalooza on Thursday!
At the very end of the night, some awesome volunteers/counselors were pied in the face by their campers. It was all at random but ASCCA Staff members Amber Cotney and Matt Rickman definitely did not know they would be getting pied as well. We then concluded the sisterhood night with the Goodnight Song.
