Yesterday after a long trip from Mobile, AL, to Jacksons Gap, AL, Mobile Rotary campers were excited and in for a fun night. Cabins were split into two groups following dinner for evening programs.
One group went to the always popular pool party while the other group went to one of this summer’s new evening programs, Camp ASCCA’s own version of the game, “Minute to Win It.”
This program involves competitions between cabins based on who can complete the challenge the fastest in one minute or less. There is a variety of options from games for campers only, camper and counselor games, and even competitions between individual counselors.
This week’s “Minute to Win It,” was a huge hit for every counselor and every camper and had some added flavor as many people were wearing their Mardi Gras gear for this week’s theme.
It is a great opportunity for everyone to have some laughs and get to know each other on the first night of Session Five.
