We continue Adventure Program Staff introductions with Beau Castor. Beau is from Lutz, Florida and this is his second summer working on Adventure. During his first ASCCA summer he worked as a counselor, then decided he wanted to know what made Adventure Program the best one around!
A self-proclaimed “adrenaline junkie”, one thing Beau really enjoys about being on Adventure Staff, is being up in the air. He enjoys being out of his comfort zone and loves any opportunity to be adventurous. Being on Program Staff has allowed him to interact with the campers on a more personal level, than when he was counselor. He’s able to be more hands-on and have one-on-one interactions with them, as he provides words of comfort and encouragement.
The various activities Adventure Program Staff are in charge of involve a lot of high ropes. This includes things such as Zip Line, Zip Tower, Cargo Net, etc. All campers are encouraged to participate, but are never forced. We know that everyone’s goals are different and want to help them shoot for the stars! Beau has such a fun spirit so we have no doubt our campers are in for a treat.
