This week was our best yet at ASCCA! We had so many adventures with this group of campers, who kept their spirits up and voices loud even when the rain tried to get them down. From the talent show to the concert, our friends at Session Two showed us that they had star power on their side!
We are so proud of this week’s award winners. Newcomer Kaley was awarded best counselor by her peers for exceptional work this week; she’s a natural! Our Program Staff of the week was Bryce, a returning staff member known for his immutable energy and positive attitude. For their hard work, the persistent men in the Crow were named honor cabin at last. The “Crow Bros” impressed us all with their spirit and diligence; the PR staff was certainly won over by a “Crow Hearts PR” sign that featured all our names!
But as always, our campers are most important. This is why staff members think through their votes for campers of the week very carefully. Ultimately, the campers who stood out the most this week were Toni and Josh! These two campers were amazingly loving and brought happiness everywhere they went. The wonderful Mr. Butch won an award for his love of the outdoors! Ms. Hope was recognized for her avid participation in all our aquatics activities, but especially the waterside. Last but not least, Mr. Victor stood out for his love of adventure! We’re so proud and absolutely honored to have had our ASCCA Achievers here with us this week! We’ll see you next year!
