Hammocks and Horseshoes: New Camp Activity

It seems over the past few years that you can hardly go to a park without seeing at least one ENO Hammock. These hammocks are truly something special — colorful, made of light parachute material, and easy to pack for a nice relaxing summer day — They are great for any age and ability to enjoy! Your Camp ASCCA now has a whole area devoted to hammocking in a serene forest setting, called Hammocking and Horseshoes.
On June 28, campers were able to take advantage of this brilliant camp location for the very first time! Hammocks are clustered and rigged from one tree to four adjacent wooden beams. One camper, who was a bit apprehensive about the hammocks initially, says, “It was really fun!!” We hope that more campers will take advantage of this brand new area!
As if hammocking and horseshoes in the forest are not fun enough, there are also future plans to add a tiki hut to this area.
