I never know how different interactions I have with people will end up in an opportunity to share Camp ASCCA. On September 25, I shared about camp because of my local eye doctor!
Dr. Martha Morrow serves on the board of the Helen Keller Foundation which holds a local 3 to 4 day special needs camp called Camp Courage. Dr. Morrow has been hoping I would be able to speak with the parents for some time now, and I’m so glad it was arranged this year. The mother’s of special needs children and I had a great time talking about the benefits of encouraging independence through camping experiences. Many were interested in their children attending Camp ASCCA!
