Muscular Dystrophy Association campers took to the zip line today. With help from the program staff on the ground, the children were able to pull themselves up the rope and onto a platform where staff members waited to hook up harnesses to the zip line.
It can be scary for first timers but the thrill and sense of accomplishment is hard to match for some campers. Counselors encouraged their campers to try the zip line and cheered for them after they accomplished their goals.
The MDA is a non-profit organization dedicated to curing muscular dystrophy and come to Camp ASCCA every year. You can view pictures of MDA at camp here!
