Next on the Adventure Program Staff to be introduced is Ashley Bowen. Ashley is from Oxford, Alabama and this is her third ASCCA summer. Similar to some of our other Program Staff members, Ashley previously worked as a Camp Counselor, but this year she wanted to try something different.
She’s always thought being a part of Adventure Program Staff would be a lot of fun, so when the opportunity arose she hopped on board. Ashley admits that it was a lot more challenging than she’d thought it be, though she didn’t have much to go off of to begin with. But as she describes how great it feels to encourage campers as they make their way up the zip tower and watch their faces light up when they get to go down the zip line, all the hard work seems well worth it.
Ashley’s really excited about the opportunity to get to know more of the campers, this summer! It’s important to her that they enjoy each of the activities and wants to help them do things they never thought they could.
