This week the energy of Jacksonville State University Gamecocks football came straight to Camp ASCCA! A group of JSU players stopped by to hang out with our campers. Let’s just say it was a touchdown of fun, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
Our campers were thrilled when the JSU athletes arrived, ready to play games, share stories, and even teach a few football moves. Whether tossing a football, posing for pictures, or just chatting about life on and off the field, the players made sure every camper felt like part of the team.
While their football skills are impressive, what really stood out was the kindness and enthusiasm these players brought to camp. They high-fived, laughed, and even joined in on some classic Camp ASCCA activities. It’s moments like these that remind us how powerful inclusion and community can be.
And of course, we made sure to give a loud “Go Gamecocks!!!” shoutout before they left. At Camp ASCCA, we believe in creating unforgettable experiences, and having JSU athletes take time to connect with our campers is a perfect example. At Camp it’s all about friendship, inspiration, and showing our campers that anything is possible. A huge THANK YOU to the JSU players who made the day so special. You guys are true champions both on and off the field!
