Today is independence day here at Camp ASCCA and we are gearing up to have the best day! This morning we started the day with the traditional meeting at the flag pole where as usual, we raised the flag high and said the pledge of allegiance together with our best friends. This moment was most special today as we are celebrating the freedom that allows us to be together in one of our favorite places in the entire United States.
Campers and staff alike in their red, white, and blue enjoyed a fabulous breakfast together and took a proud moment to passionately chant U.S.A. together (yes even our international counselors joined in)! As we exited the dining hall in our best independence day gear all were dancing to every camper’s favorite morning song “Jump on it” and we are certain that jumping into today will make for the most memorable fourth!
