Most people don’t consider public speaking all that fun! However, when I get a chance to speak in front of young people, I always enjoy it! On January 20th, I was delighted to speak with a group of students at Central Alabama Community College in Alexander City for the Junior Leadership Diversity Day. I appreciate Mark Knight for inviting me!
The students were there to learn about people with different levels of ability. They were already familiar with Camp ASCCA because they had spent time at camp developing leadership skills and group cohesion. The students showed a lot of interest in how camp runs and a few asked questions about working for camp. The students were very talkative and I enjoyed speaking with them.
If your church, school, civic/service club or group would be interested in scheduling me as a speaker please email: allison@campascca.org
