The purpose of Junior Leadership Lake Martin is to bring together young people who represent the diversity of the student population of all accredited high schools within Tallapoosa County, Alabama who have manifested the willingness and ability to provide leadership in their schools and communities.

The program’s mission states that Junior Leadership Lake Martin will serve as a vehicle to help develop potential leaders for assuming positions of responsibility in thier communities by helping to ensure that our youth have the training and skills required to meet the challenges they will face as future leaders.
