Operation Rise & Conquer

Operation Rise & Conquer (September 25-29, 2013) is an exciting outdoor recreation program by Lakeshore Foundation held at Lake Martin, Alabama at Easter Seals Camp ASCCA. This Operation is funded by the Wounded Warrior Project.

Operation Rise and Conquer is an extended outdoor adventure weekend for servicemen and women who have sustained a significant injury while serving our country post-9/11.

The weekend begins at Lakeshore and moves on to Lake Martin, located near Alexander City, Ala., for a variety of challenging outdoor recreation activities.Qualifying injuries included but not limited to spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, vision impairments, amputations, burns, and/or disfigurements. Activities include cycling, archery,shooting, scuba, climbing wall, fishing, water skiing, kayaking and more. There is no cost to the servicemen and women who qualify and he or she can bring one guest.

Wounded Warrior Project is a proud supporter of the above Lima Foxtrot programs.

“LIMA FOXTROT” is the brand name adopted by Lakeshore to describe what has become one of this country’s premier, comprehensive, year round, sport, fitness, and recreation programs for severely injured members of our Armed Forces who were injured post 9/11.
