Today, our campers had a fantastic time at the demo farm. They were thrilled to pet sheep, goats, cows, bunnies, and chickens! They learned interesting facts about each animal, such as how steep a mountain a goat can climb and the products we can make from the wool provided by our sheep. Everyone was impressed, and the barn was filled with smiles and laughter as each animal made its appearance.
The campers truly enjoyed the experience of interacting with the farm animals, and they even had the chance to feed some of them! When the chicken named Speedy came out, the campers had the opportunity to place Speedy on their heads for a picture. The campers absolutely loved it! When the bunnies came out, they also had the chance to hold them and take photos.
We created so many wonderful memories today at the farm, and for some campers, it was their first time ever getting to pet an animal up close. The joy on their faces was priceless. We can’t wait to create more lasting memories with our campers throughout the week, and this day is just the beginning!
