Throughout the next couple of weeks we’ll take each day to highlight one of our Program Staff members and the activity they’re in charge of this summer. Each of them bring their own unique gifts and talents to the group and we want you to hear about it! This week, you’ll meet our Farm Staff, starting with Justin Ward.
Justin is from Greensboro, North Carolina and will serve as Camp ASCCA’s 2017 Fishing Director. He’s been fishing all his life and says he really enjoys what he does. The early part of his day consists of cleaning and activity set-up. Then, throughout the day, he gets the opportunity to interact with campers as they take turns visiting his activity.
Because he has a lot of experience, Justin is able to be hands-on with the campers. He gets the opportunity to share his expertise and demonstrate how to do different things such as baiting, casting and removing the fish from the hook.
