Our Aquatics Program Staff spotlights wrap up with Lifeguard, Sam Stephenson. For those of you who don’t know Sam’s unique story with Camp, he’s lived here all his life. That’s right! He gets to have the best summer of his life, all year round.
As the son to Camp Administrator John Stephenson, Sam expresses the higher standards he’s held to. Though this could be a lot of pressure for some, Sam uses it to push himself to be better than he was before.
Growing up on-site, Sam has had the pleasure of experiencing and familiarizing himself with all the activities Camp has to offer. It allows him to see how much fun the campers get to have, as well as help other staff with whatever they may need.
Along with everyone else on Aquatics Program Staff, he really enjoys running the Tubing activity. He likes how it allows him to interact with the campers more than he would in any other activity. And it’s a lot cooler, too!
