Join us as we welcome another new face to Camp ASCCA! This is Grayson’s first summer at ASCCA, and he is part of our adventure program staff. Though this is Grayson’s first summer working with Camp ASCCA, he’s no stranger to it. He was a camper and counselor at Camp Seale Harris for ten years.
Grayson is from Birmingham, AL, and is attending The University of Montevallo, pursuing a degree in psychology counseling. Grayson wanted to work at Camp ASCCA because he says it will prepare him for his future working with people with intellectual disabilities.
He chose to be a part of the adventure program staff because during his time as a camper at Camp Seale Harris, he says he looked up to the program staff. Grayson is most looking forward to meeting the campers and having the chance to interact with them, he’s heard nothing but great stories from returning staff members.
