Meet the Nursing Staff: Mariah Schmidt

Meet Mariah Schmidt, our newest addition to the Camp ASCCA Family!

She is doing great things here at ASCCA this summer and we are so glad to have her here with us this summer!

Nurse Mariah is from Neenah Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2015.

Nurse Mariah just recently moved to the Alabama area and was unable to return as a camp counselor back home. She has always wanted to be a camp nurse and found Camp ASCCA by searching for camp nursing jobs near Alabama. It was the perfect time and opportunity!

Her favorite Camp Activity is Demo Farm because she likes animals and loves to see our campers interact with our farm animals.

When asked what she has learned so far by working at Camp ASCCA this summer she said, “That this is the BEST Job in the world!” Work isn’t really work when you love what you do and who you get to serve.

We all Love Nurse Mariah and we are so glad to have her as part of our summer staff and ASCCA Family!

As Always we are having a Great day here at Camp ASCCA!
