Hi Everyone, my name is Nicholas Wright and I am a part of the Public Relations staff here at Camp ASCCA. This is my first year here at Camp and I am very excited to be bringing everyone fun content and memories that will be captured throughout the summer. Now, let me tell you a little bit about myself.
I am currently a Senior Broadcast Journalism major at Troy University from Atlanta, Georgia while minoring in communications. I am currently at Camp ASCCA on an internship to get professional PR experience. Some of my Public Relations and Journalism background include being a news anchor on Troy Trojanvision news on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Friday’s in the afternoon for their midday show.
I first heard about this Camp through an internship program at school and thought it would be a great way to add a Public Relations job to my resume. I am no stranger to the camp life as I worked as a counselor at my previous job for 5 years at Camp Cosby located in Alpine, Alabama.
Although I will miss the bonds and friendships that were made over there at Camp Cosby, Camp ASCCA grants me the chance to build strong relationships with my new friends and give me exposure to new opportunities. My overall mission for this summer is to be the best PR staff member I can be , while creating engaging content everyone can enjoy. Well that’s enough about me let’s have a great summer everyone!
