This week we are getting to know our 2019 program staff. Meet Abbie Simpson! Abbie is from Dadeville, Alabama and will be working on our demonstration farm. This is Abbie’s third summer working at Camp ASCCA.
Her favorite thing about Camp is seeing how fast everyone makes friends throughout the week and seeing how long the friendships last. Abbie is most looking forward to having a different position this summer. “Being on program staff I get to meet all the campers and not just the ones in my group.”
Other than spending her summers at Camp, Abbie attends Central Alabama Community College, and she is majoring in Special Education. She loves swimming and shopping, and an interesting fact about Abbie is that she does gymnastics!
