This week we are getting to know our 2019 summer program staff. Meet Anna Tucker! Anna is from Birmingham, Alabama and will be running our arts and crafts and music. This is Anna’s first year at Camp ASCCA.
Anna found out about ASCCA through one of her friends that had the opportunity to spend a weekend here. Her favorite part about Camp has been seeing all of the kids interact. “I like seeing how their minds work when they get in the arts and crafts room, and how they see things differently,” she says.
Anna is most looking forward to meeting all the campers and being able to help them express what they have in their mind. She hopes to gain experience and a lot of memories that she can use in her future career. Anna can’t wait to help the campers express themselves through art and music.
Aside from Camp ASCCA, Anna attends The University of Alabama and she is studying collaborative education, which is special education K-12. In her free time Anna enjoys playing piano, singing and running. An interesting fact about Anna is that she has been taking voice lessons since she was in the third grade.
