This week we are getting to know our program staff for summer 2019. Meet Sam Stephenson! Sam is from Jackson’s Gap, Alabama and he is a lifeguard.
Sam has been local to Camp ASCCA since second grade, and this is his fifth summer working here. Sam is most looking forward to Camp ASCCA kicking off Session 1, and he cannot wait for the campers to arrive. His favorite part about camp is tubing in the lake.
Sam says he can’t wait to gain a new perspective because every year you come back you always get a new outlook on life!
Other than Camp, Sam attends Southern Union Community College and he is majoring in nursing. He loves being in his hammock and sleeping. His interesting fact is that he has five dogs!
