The beginning of summer means that it’s time to get to know our 2024 Program Staff members! Today, we introduce you to a new face, Aly Gardner!
Aly is from Spanish Fort, Alabama, and is a member of our aquatics staff. She is a rising senior at Auburn University majoring in psychology, with hopes to do ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) Therapy. Aly has plans to attend The University of South Alabama for graduate school.
While in school at Auburn University, Aly met with her advisor seeking a summer camp for people with disabilities, and there she learned about Camp ASCCA! Last year, she worked a one-week camp for people with disabilities and knew this was something she wanted to do every summer.
Aly is looking forward to connecting with our campers and staff, meeting new people, and gaining experience that will help her in her future career.
A fun fact about Aly is that she knows the alphabet in sign language!
We are so happy to have Aly on our staff for Summer 2024! Bring on the campers!
