The beginning of summer means that it’s time to get to know our 2024 Program Staff members! Join us as we welcome Emily Lamberson back to Camp ASCCA!
Emily is returning for her third summer at Camp ASCCA and her first year on the adventure program staff. She is from Birmingham, Alabama, and is a rising senior at Auburn University. Emily is pursuing a degree in Human Development and Family Science with the hopes of being an Occupational Therapist one day.
Emily has worked at Camp ASCCA since 2022 as a counselor and always excelled. She was last year’s Judy Williams scholarship recipient. Emily has always enjoyed all the adventure activities and is looking forward to being a part of it. She is excited about this change and can’t wait to see all of the campers again.
Emily, originally found out about Camp ASCCA in 2022 when Program Director Amber Cotney visited a club she was involved in. Upon hearing about ASCCA and everything offered, Emily knew this was a place she wanted to be a part of.
A fun fact about Emily is that she can do the worm really well! (Be sure to ask her to demonstrate!)
