The beginning of summer means that it’s time to get to know our 2024 Program Staff members! Today, we welcome Emma Bryson back to Camp ASCCA.
Emma is from Mobile, Alabama, and is returning for her third summer at Camp ASCCA! Emma has previously worked as a CIT, counselor, and is now a member of the aquatics program staff. She joined aquatics because she enjoys making activities adaptive for campers and all their abilities.
Emma is a rising junior at the University of South Alabama, and majoring in therapeutic recreation. One day, she hopes to be an adaptive ski instructor. Her dream is to eventually go back to school for her PhD and become a professor.
Emma is no stranger to Camp ASCCA not only is this her third summer, but her mom and sister have also worked here in previous years. She looks forward to seeing all the campers again and watching them experience new things for the first time!
A fun fact about Emma is that she knows all the words to Ice Ice Baby.
