Summer 2025 is right around the corner, and before the fun officially begins, we’re excited to introduce you to our amazing program staff! This team is confident, knowledgeable, and ready to give our campers the best summer experience possible.
Join us in welcoming Alexis (Lexie) Statton to our 2025 program staff! Lexie will be serving as our Archery Director, and we’re thrilled to have her on board.
Lexie grew up as a military child, living in several different places, and now resides in Blountsville, AL. She is a recent graduate of the University of Alabama at Huntsville with a degree in Elementary Education. This fall, she will begin graduate school to pursue a master’s degree in Special Education.
Lexie is no stranger to archery—she has been shooting for over eight years! Her passion has taken her all across the country, with her favorite competition location being France. She even competed at the collegiate level during her freshman year of college. We can’t wait to see her share her expertise with campers this summer.
Interestingly, Lexie first heard about Camp ASCCA while at the hair salon. After doing some research, she quickly realized this was an opportunity she couldn’t pass up.
This summer, Lexie is most excited to meet our campers and teach them a sport she loves deeply. She’s also looking forward to reconnecting with her passion for archery.
We’re so excited to have Lexie as part of our team and know she’ll thrive in this new role!
