Meet Mary Grace Staples, this is her first summer here at Camp ASCCA and she will be running our Arts and Crafts/Music program. Mary Grace is pursuing a degree in Graphic Design at the University of South Alabama.
Mary Grace’s love for art was inspired by one of her childhood art teachers and she wants to do the same thing for our campers this summer.
This summer when our campers go to Arts and Crafts they will have a blast painting, making friendship bracelets and other crafts, but they will also be part of a special art project, a mural that we hope to hang in our new Arts and Craft center. During Arts and Crafts campers will be given a certain section of a 4×4 piece of wood to paint and then sign the back. At the end of the week we will have a beautiful masterpiece created by our campers that week and we cannot wait to show it off.
