The first full day of Session 1 was a blast! This afternoon we made our way to archery where our campers tried super hard to get a bullseye.
Our shooting sports program staff, Tristan, got everything set up just right so that our campers would have the best chance to succeed. Everyone was so excited to be able to cross behind the rope and get their hands on a bow and arrow. There were smiles from ear to ear all around.
All of the campers had the opportunity to shoot five arrows, some even got extremely close to hitting a bullseye. Every time Mitch shot released his arrow he yelled, “fire!!,” that way we knew everytime he was ready. Archery was such fun for everyone and it was an activity that campers do not often have the opportunity to participate in outside of Camp.
