Monsters attempted to take over Camp ASCCA today but campers stopped them! Campers had to go to stations spread out throughout camp. There was one at archery, in front of the main office, splash pad, Davis Lodge, the nurses’ station, the Wii Room, the gym, the playground and arts and crafts. Each station had a different game to play or challenge to overcome!
At the nurses’ station, footprints of monsters were laid out on the floor and campers had to guess which monsters the foot prints belonged to. In the Wii room, campers went head-to-head against their counselors to see who could curl the most times with a five pound weight in order to defeat the monster.
At the station in front of Davis Lodge, campers had to throw toilet paper into the “monster’s” mouth in order to feed him so that he wouldn’t eat everyone at camp. At the playground, cabins had to strategize and move through the “city” without the monsters touching them.
At arts and crafts, three campers were chosen from each group to sniff six different cups and guess what the main ingredient was. The points for guessing correctly will go towards honor cabin. At the splash pad campers looked at a collage of monsters and had to find all of the monsters with hats on and point them out!
At archery, campers had to show their talents to the monsters so that the monsters would stop taking over camp! In front of the office, campers had to bowl in order to defeat the monsters.
Thankfully, the campers completed all of the stations and rescued camp! Go to Flickr to see more pictures of the fun!
