Musical Guest Brings More Than a Great Show

With the weekend in the books, it is time for Session Two of Camp ASCCA to start. Campers started arriving around 1:30 yesterday, and everyone was ready to spend the best week of their summer with us here at Camp ASCCA. After all the campers arrived, it was time for some dinner and then straight into our evening programs. Last night for one of our programs, we had a special musical guest, The Transformations.

The Transformations sing gospel style music, plus some old classical hits, like the Eagles. Transformation was a very unique group to hear, as they would replace some words in the songs to create more of a gospel style. I absolutely loved listening to their music last night, and I was not the only one. As The Transformations performed, the campers were up moving about, many of them singing and dancing with fellow campers, and their counselors.

The Transformations did more than just come and play a great show for us last night. As members of the Demopolis Rotary Club, they gifted Camp ASCCA a charitable donation that Camp Director Matt Rickman received after introducing the band. We would like to send our greatest gratitude towards all the members of The Transformations and the Demopolis Rotary Club.It is people like you who make Camp ASCCA possible!
