One Last ASCCA Check-In

Today we checked in the last campers of our summer sessions. It marked our first of the lasts, welcoming them to Session 7 of our 50th summer. Each year, we see new and old faces that remind us of the love people have for Camp ASCCA and the opportunities we offer.

We started the day like any other check-in. After everyone was all moved in and settled, they headed to the dining hall for our weekly pizza party. The room was full of conversation as everyone got to know each other better. For post-dinner entertainment, campers and staff split up to do evening free-choice activities. This included karaoke and hammocks at the Outpost, canoeing, bungee trampoline, boat rides, and more! Doing free-choice on Sundays helps us to get to know our campers and their interests better.

As the night ended, campers rejoined one another under the gym pavilion to sing the first good night song of the week. With the sweet tune floating in the air and a warm feeling growing in our hearts, we soaked in the milestone together. The ASCCA family can’t wait to see what the rest of this week and the future of Camp has in store!
