Here we are! Orientation week has been a blast, let’s reflect on the past couple of days. Staff checked in Tuesday afternoon, and got to training! It was a week filled with adventure, learning, and making new friends. We all went in with a mix of excitement and a bit of nervousness, but this incredible group quickly came to love each other!
We’ve had a busy week from going over policies and procedures to learning how to feed, transfer, and getting to know the staff we’ll be working with. Team building games were definitely a highlight for majority of staff! The amazing Unit Leaders led us through a variety of games that required us to lean on each other, communicate and problem solve. There was never a dull moment, we celebrated in the victories, and laughed extra hard in the mishaps. Orientation allowed us to break the ice, strengthen our bonds, and prepared us for the weeks to come! From laughing to crying, this team has already grown individually and as a whole. We are looking forward to hanging out with the campers, and all that this summer is going to bring! See you Sunday Session one!
