It’s our second day of Teen Week, and that means we’re one day closer to our all-out dress up day on Wednesday. The theme this week is all about survival; we’ve got our camouflage and olive green ready! Today, however, the question was whether tonight’s talent show was going to survive the weather. Our campers and even whole cabins were chomping at the bit to show their stuff, so we knew we’d make it work!
In the end, the talent show went better than anyone could have anticipated. The Moundville and Cheaha cabins blew us away with their elaborate acts — set to “Baby” and “Livin’ on a Prayer” respectively. Even though these big groups must have been intimidating acts to follow, our solo performers also blew us away with their talent. Everyone was amazed by longtime camper Parr‘s passionate performance — something she’d been looking forward to all week. Kera also stood out for rapping her original lyrics with back up dancers and costumes! Campers who choose not to perform also did an amazing job supporting their friends on stage — a captive audience makes it all so much more fun! All of our friends proved they were absolutely beautiful inside and out, and we could not be more proud!
