We are very fortunate to have been selected by Payless as a charity that employees can donate to through their Choose to Give annual campaign. In some districts, Leaders also choose to give of their time and talents as well.
On November 12, 2014, five Payless leaders from District B5C in the Atlanta area visited Camp ASCCA for a “Day of Giving”. Store Leaders Crystal Pelcarsky-Muench, Kathy Turcios, and Lisa Penna painted the exterior of our newly renovated Lions-Rotary Lodge. Group Leader Steve Robichaux and District Leader Kevin Rickman built bunk beds for the currently-being-renovated Davis Lodge. Kevin also provided a pizza lunch for the group and the Camp ASCCA staff that worked alongside them!
We love groups like this that give to Camp ASCCA. They appreciate our mission of serving children and adults with disabilities and want to help any way they can. From building the beds and painting the cabins the campers sleep in to donating personal funds so the campers can attend summer camp, these individuals are making a difference!
