Pizza Night: Little Italy Pizzeria

On Wednesday nights we always have homemade pizza made by our Fantastic Kitchen staff, but last night we were surprised to see that Mark McClurg from Little Italy Pizzeria in Auburn, Al made a special delivery!

He even brought along a special visitor to eat dinner with us, Nurse Susan Jones. Nurse Susan was part of our nursing staff last summer and we were all excited to get to see her again.

This is the second summer Mark and Little Italy’s have donated time and pizza to Camp ASCCA! Last summer Mark and his staff brought pizza to camp a couple of times and they came one aftenoon to teach a class for one of our free-choice activities on how to make pizza dough.

We are very grateful for Mark and all of his staff that take the time to share their talents with us here at camp. Last night Mark was inducted as a Honorary Staff member by camp director, Matt Rickman, as a thank you for al that he has given the Camp ASCCA family.

We are so glad Mark and Nurse Susan came to visit and bring us pizza last night! Thank you for loving us, just as much as we love the both of you and come back to visit as much as possible!
